Rock Springs Main Street/URA’s community conversations to continue in 2024

The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is continuing their initiative to connect with members of the community and share ideas for Downtown through their Coffee and Conversation meet-ups. This intimate event will be hosted quarterly over coffee. 

The first Coffee and Conversation of 2024 will take place on Tuesday, March 19 at 10:00 a.m. at The Java Peddler (inside the Bike & Trike, 612 Broadway Street).

            “We are here to represent the wants and needs of the community. Everyone and anyone is welcome,” URA Board Chairwoman Maria Mortensen explained of the event. “We want to encourage collaboration around the shared goal of strengthening Downtown Rock Springs,” she added. 

            Possible subjects for discussion may include upcoming Downtown events, cross-promotion initiatives, the revitalization of Downtown, the local arts scene, and a chance for a question and answer session focused on Downtown matters. However, the conversation may naturally evolve to encompass other relevant topics as suggested by those in attendance.

 “Your coffee will be on us!” added Maria Mortensen. “Just bring your ideas and your love for our Downtown.”
