The August Ball

For the 3rd year in a row, an evening of Queer excellence in Wyoming.

Ballroom culture in our own backyard! Contestants from across the Equality State are working to create unique fashion pieces to fit this year's 3 categories:

• Retro Realness
• It's Giving Graffiti
• King, Queen, & Everything In-Between of the Ball

Join us as they strut their stuff - with hosting (and peanut gallery commentary) by Mother herself - Starling, My Darling... Live performances from Starling Co. family royalty... And live feedback from our panel of extra-special guest judges:

• Augusto Darling, our show creator!
• Shari Kumer, a local and nationally renowned visual artist!

• Aria Wake, last year's "Best Overall" winner of the Ball!

But the fun doesn't stop there! You'll have the opportunity to vote for "Crowd Favorite" and experience the crowning of our winners LIVE.

Come hungry & thirsty - our new, spectacular venue has an in-house kitchen, serving top notch Birria based items, as well as a bar of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks!

*The August Ball is based in the Ballroom culture pioneered by the Queer & Drag artist elders - mainly POC - that came before us. This is our love letter & celebration of their work & perseverance.
