"Christmas Through The Ages" Auditions
Description
The Horizon Theater is excited to introduce their third annual Christmas show: “Christmas Through the Ages.” Join us in a musical showcase as we celebrate Christmas and the Holidays through a variety of songs and musical numbers. Audition with us to perform your favorite holiday tune, or be a part of our ensemble. We aim to make this a collaborative event for the community, and are open to any performance ideas or song choices.
We are also seeking an experienced pianist to accompany a portion of the numbers in the show. If you are interested, please come to auditions, or reach out to us individually.
Please prepare a 32 bar cut (about a minute in length) in any style of Christmas or Holiday song. This could be a traditional Christmas Hymn, a contemporary song, musical theater style, pop, or worship. We are open to anything as long as it is Christmas/Holiday related.
If you are interested in performing as a soloist, please audition with a specific song you would like to perform in the show. We will take these into consideration when choosing numbers and the show lineup.
If you are interested in group numbers/ensemble, any Christmas/Holiday song will do.
Please provide sheet music for the pianist for your audition. As the show will be performed piano-only, Youtube and karaoke tracks are not recommended.
Callbacks will be held by invitation only, on October 2.
Performances will be December 12, 13, and 14 at 7:30pm, and Dec 14 at 2:00pm.
If you are unable to attend auditions in person, please feel welcome to audition virtually by filling out the attached google form.

The Horizon Theater is dedicated to providing performing opportunities to everyone of all backgrounds and experience. We are accepting auditions for people of all ages, and will be casting both soloists, and ensemble members for the show.
